| Daniel Hornell | Ten Years | Punk, Rock | LP (10 tracks or 35 minutes) | Every Year I take part in the RPM Song Writing Challenge to write 10 brand new original songs during the month of February. This year, "Ten Years" is what I came up with. ...I went a little overboard with the whole "Ten" thing. Ten Years: I started with the idea that each song could represent a year of a decade. I figured With the 2010's just recently ending (and my 20's along With it) that decade would be easy to write about. So this album basically summarizes some aspect of each other those years. Ten Chords: I used only 10 different chords. Ten Drum Beats: I got my friend (and fellow The Goodbye Summer member) Alex Heibein to record 10 different drumbeats for me to mix & match across the record. These were the only drums I used.
