blunderspublik x dubble yew | Ambient | A dear ol' dad (46) and his son (13) collaborate via JummBox and FL Studio to create an EP for the 2025 RPM challenge. Dubble Yew created the original loops in JummBox, and then they worked together to add instrumentation and arrange them into longer songs. | EP | Guelph | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Borek Patty | Experimental | Acoustic guitar/lap steel songs to expose to the elements until nothing is left. I recorded it in my basement on dated gear surrounded by effect pedals and old guitars and amps. I try to breathe fresh air into a very familiar musical idiom, and may or may not succeed. Let me know! LOL | EP | Peterborough | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Brandon Brooks | Indie | I wrote this for my 2nd February Album Writing Month. It's the final part in a trilogy of albums I started last year called House On The Hill (Short Stories III). It's a cold, wintery singer-songwriter album about loss, grief, and getting through it. | Album | Kingston | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Buoy A | Blues | I started by selecting a smooth, sultry beat that matched the intimate vibe I envisioned for Sensual. Using BandLab’s built-in loops and instruments, I layered soft R&B-style chords and a mellow bassline to set the mood. I then recorded my vocals, experimenting with different harmonies and vocal effects to enhance the song’s emotional depth. To refine the sound, I used BandLab’s mixing tools—adding reverb for warmth and subtle compression for clarity. After fine-tuning the arrangement and balancing the levels, Sensual came to life as a soulful, immersive track ready for listeners to experience. | Single | Toronto | Ontario | Canada | LINK |

Jana Sais Quoi | Soundtrack | This EP explores themes of fate, chance and loss of control. It implements chance music compositional techniques and tarot cards to determine vibes. | EP | Toronto | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Jill Staveley | Singer-Songwriter | I managed to do it. Write and record a song this February. I had hoped to do more - but life is busy, and this song reflects that. | Single | Peterborough | Ontario | Canada | LINK |

Kumoguma | Ambient | An auditory collage made to teach myself mixing/mastering in GarageBand, at the end of the fifth year of the seemingly-eternal COVID pandemic. | Album | t'karonto | Ontario | Canada | LINK |

Spanish War 05:48 about This is my 2025 RPM Challenge album. Unlike last year's, this album is a collection of country songs written over the past several months with no strict theme. As the album developed, it was clear that many of the songs discuss the state of the world, masculinity, the rise of authoritarianism, and the end of empire. And there's a couple of love songs in here to boot! | Album | Ottawa | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Midswim | Experimental | It's a combination of 2 heavy rock/punk songs and then 2 experimental acoustic songs using tape recordings from The Artist's Way book on tape and my own recordings of my dreams over a few months last summer. | EP | Guelph | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Mokaio | Singer-Songwriter | I made a single using Ableton. It is the first song I am proud to release. | Single | Toronto | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Morgellona | Rock | rock n roll | EP | Peterborough | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
North of the Checkerboard | Guitar | The Cohiba ep is three songs we recorded (mostly) during the recent snowstorm, in Young's Point. Expect acoustic guitar, some experimental sounds, and then in the eleventh hour: a banjo ballad. | Single | peterborough | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
northern comfort | Indie | I joined this challenge on a whim in the middle of February and did very little work on my song. This was all that I could muster with the actual time I spent. Also, I have no experience doing any of the production/ mixing for songs and have never released anything. | Single | Kitchener | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Not Quiet Noise | Electronic | Hurriedly made on a computer, keyboard, FL Studio | EP | Hamilton | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Patient Whales | Indie | The goal for this RPM was less about quantity and more about deciding on a new musical direction. I specifically wanted to include vocals and songs that could be easily re-interpreted live. "A Few Questions" was the first attempt at capturing an idea, with more to come | Single | Hamilton | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
people you meet outside of bars | Singer-Songwriter | Album | Ottawa | Ontario | Canada | LINK | |
Ricia Rae | Singer-Songwriter | A collection of somewhat different styles made with a bunch of instruments and electronics. I called it Pulse due to some recent heart issues I've been having (I don't mean that metaphorically). Great to finished my 6th RPM. | Album | Waterloo | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Rob Hailman | Synth | countless struggles to find time and inspiration, and then a modest pile of synthesizers | Single | Peterborough | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Secret Connection | Noise | Solo instrumental work performed in a single take using strings and hands I had to learn how to use again. | Album | Ottawa | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Six Inch Tropicals | Pop | An exploration of exotica sounds with my own modern psychadelic twist, on top of a narrative about a mysterious doomsday cult. | EP | Chatham-Kent | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
steven leak | Electronic | pale dense places. the spaces between light and shadow. grey scale with suggestions of colour in melodies that settle on the dusty eiderdown of life. | EP | Peterborough | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
Three Pregnant Men | Experimental | we're giving birth to these songs. yeah. let's get to work. | EP | Waterloo | Ontario | Canada | LINK |
